Sinopsis: 2021. Timișoara. Viki, a former employee of a multinational company, now lives in an abandoned house after a depressive breakdown. She has grown attached to three Afghan children, finding an inner peace she had never known before. Today is the day a guide will smuggle them all across the border, but Viki still hasn’t managed to raise all the money. When her carefully laid plan begins to unravel, she is caught in a race against time, forced to confront the people closest to her former life—and their prejudices about the choices she has made. The story is inspired by the refugee crisis and by real accounts from the Iosefin neighbourhood during that period.
